So long 2023! Thank you for the great game dev stories

On the last working day of 2023 we take one final look over our shoulder to see what we are leaving behind. This year was a two-faced monster. A stellar year for game releases, that’s for sure. But also a dreadful year for job security in game development, with a heartbreaking 10.000 layoffs. We look towards 2024 with a mixture of hope and fear, but also with a strong belief in the ability of people to bounce back. All this incredible creative talent on the loose must result in something beautiful right? New studios formed, passions projects dusted off and worked on again and other yet unforeseen initiatives popping up.

But for now, let me take you back to some of the stories that PreMortem.Games brought you this year. We let the creators talk about their own games. About what motivates them and inspires them. About their hopes and dreams as well as the technology used. Please join us on our own little walk down 2023 memory lane. See you in 2024!
