Game event networking platform MeetToMatch acquired by 1SP Agency

International marketing agency 1SP Agency has acquired MeetToMatch, the leading B2B matchmaking and event platform for the global games and digital entertainment industries. The acquisition brings together 1SP Agency’s consumer-focused marketing and experiential expertise with MeetToMatch’s data-driven networking and event technology. Based in Hamburg, Germany and Utrecht, the Netherlands respectively, the two companies will operate across brand activation, live events and structured business matchmaking.

Powerful matchmaking

“Our ambition is to support game companies across the entire marketing mix, from brand building and demand generation to sales activation and live experiences,” says Torsten Oppermann, Managing Director of 1SP Agency in a joint press release. “With MeetToMatch, we now add a powerful matchmaking and event technology layer that significantly enhances how professionals connect, do business, and create value at trade shows worldwide.”

MeetToMatch has spent more than a decade building its position as the industry’s most widely used B2B matchmaking platform, supporting over 60 international games industry events each year. The platform connects developers, publishers, investors and service providers through structured one-on-one meetings, networking sessions, workshops and conference programming.

Swiss Army Knife

For 1SP Agency, the acquisition strengthens its push into data-driven networking and B2B relationship building, complementing its existing portfolio of integrated marketing strategies, retail and sales activations and technology solutions spanning web, apps, AR and VR. The companies say the combination will deliver enhanced event experiences for clients and partners, broader reach across the global games ecosystem and accelerated development of the MeetToMatch platform.
